Covid Rules – Update from Chairman

In order that we comply with the current Covid Guidance, Richard Codd (Chairman) has issued the following statement after consulting with Steve (Covid officer) and the DCB:

“After speaking to the Devon Cricket Board I can confirm that we’re not allowed spectators until the middle of May at the earliest.

However we are allowed to have outside ‘hospitality’. Therefore on Sunday the bar will be open between 2 & 7pm for table service only, everyone not involved with the game will be required to sit within the area immediately outside the pavilion and not allowed on the benches around the outfield.

Boundary walking will also be discouraged.

Other than the toilets the pavilion is out of bounds.

All of the above is subject to the standard Covid rules i.e. sign in, social distancing, sanitising, rule of 6 etc. Please bring your own sanitiser & food.

Please remember that we don’t have paid staff and everyone is a volunteer so any help you can provide will be really appreciated.

Your help with sticking to the rules will increase the likelihood of normality of returning soon.

I Thank You.”
